What do you think of Kosuke Fukudome?
| Friday, April 11th, 2008 |
We are three series into the Major League Baseball season, and Kosuke Fukudome’s rookie season. We’ve seen a lot from the Japanese import:
- A game tying home run
- Game winning double
- A poor fielding play and base running mistake
- And a lot of hits and walks
So far everything has looked pretty good. And you’ve read what we think, but we want to know what you think. Let us know what you think about Kosuke Fukudome’s play, spot in the batting order, whatever is on your mind!

This guy is everything I thought he would be!! Keep it up!
He’s a tipical Japanese player. Fundamentaly sound. Makes contact and is a patient hiter. Decent fielder too. Reminds me of Yankees Matsuki. Great addition to the Cubs lineup
Yankees Matsui that is
Kosuke Fukudome in his first year on the cubs!!!!
it seems like he has been there for like 5 years the way he plays.
he amazes me. espicially on the opening day 3-run hr.
great website!
I see real genius in his game. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) has a batting slump. I believe that his fielding skills rival anyone in baseball and his honesty and humility makes him the exact image of what a professional ball player should be. A true “team player” is so rare in sports these days…he’ll be just fine!
